Gallery Exhibit featuring works by Ken Ahlering

Ken is self-taught and has been painting for over 60 years. He paint realistic Images of America in oil and specializes American landscapes, seascapes, especially the Jersey shore and skyscapes of my favorite ski areas in Vermont.
Early on, he became interested in fine art, always attracted to realistic drawings and oil paintings. He’s always respected the Old Masters with their long tradition of knowledge, skills and effort. Their beautiful use of color, composition and light were what I wanted to emulate.
Ken’s paintings are now scattered throughout the country. He finds great joy in his artwork quieting a room, starting a conversation and becoming a family treasure for the future.
A Gallery Opening is scheduled in honor of Ken Ahlering, Thursday, October 28th from 5 – 6 p.m. In addition to meeting Ken and seeing his exhibit, attendees will also be able to enjoy live music and delightful appetizers created by Equinox Village’s Chef. This exhibit is free, open to the public and will remain hung in the Gallery until November 15. Our Gallery is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
