Patti Barham Campbell grew up in Monmouth Beach, N.J. and presently resides in Dorset, Vt. and Venice, Florida. Her art education started at Rosemont College, Pa. where she graduated with a BA in Fine Arts and minors in Art History and French. She studied at the Institute for American Universities and Les Beaux Arts, Aix en Provence, France during her Junior Year abroad and again in 1997 to complete credits for her M.F.A, the doctoral degree. She graduated from Kean University with a Masters of Art Education and from Jersey City University in 2000 with the M.F.A. (Summa Cum Laude) She has taught art in public schools in Manasquan HS, and Fair Haven, N.J. She was an adjunct professor at Brookdale College as well. She retired in 2004. She has exhibited her work at the Musee’ Granet in Aix and the Dorset theater, SVAC, as well as numerous one woman shows at the Dorset Library, Dorset, Vt. Many of her landscapes and seascapes are hanging in Corporate Offices, restaurants, professional buildings and private collections in Vt., Florida, N.J. and other parts of the US and Europe. “Nature holds the key for living color and design. I have an intimate response to the energy and spirituality in nature and paint from a spontaneous, intuitive and sensual repose to the world that surrounds me.”
The Gallery Opening for Patti Barham Campbell's selected pieces is scheduled from 5 - 6 p.m. Thursday, August 18. At this time, the Gallery Opening is not open to the public. However, the public is welcome to visit the Gallery to see Campbell's work between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. No cost to visit.
