Announcing our new Executive Chef, Kyle Garell

Kyle Garell comes to us as a seasoned chef of over 16 years in the field. What stands out about Kyle is his passion for his profession: Passion for quality, fresh ingredients, having guests enjoy eating the food he’s prepared, and sharing the fun of all things food related with others. These passions fuel his soul, energizing him in his pursuit to satisfy and please his guests.

Previously, and most notably, Kyle was Chef for six years at the Palm Restaurant at The Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston and for seven years he was on Martha’s Vineyard at Relais & Chateaux: The Charlotte Inn. All this was prior to his move to Vermont, twelve years ago.

When not preparing or cooking food, Kyle can be found enjoying time with his family and his dog “James”. He enjoys skiing and the beach with seafood being his favorite food to consume himself, as well as prepare for others.

Food is such an important part of life; for health, social connections, creating new memories and remembering past ones. Kyle looks forward to getting to know the residents of Equinox Village, so that he can prepare meals that meet their needs. His energy, creativity and passion for cooking will be used in refining the quality foodservice experience already embedded in Equinox Village’s way of life.
